WHAT YOU SAY
[This page is closed to new input. --Ed.] Hey, no matter what shape, I find that just enlarging your eyes will really help. I can’t go out feeling good about myself without make-up on…a real bother but it’s worth it.
My eyes aren’t that bad, but they’re not as huge as I’d like them to be. I _always_ use eyeliner to extend the sides, and bottom (use make-up sparingly on the bottom otherwise you end up as a panda)so the whole things seems larger. Creases are a real advantage in looks, agreed? So for the top, I just kinda border the lids.
If you don’t got creases…well just make sure you know how to use eye shadow properly. Some of my friends who don’t have it and apply eye shadow…well let’s just say it looks HORRIBLE. It’s like you don’t know how to put on make-up! If you don’t have double eyelids I suggest simply eyeliner and focus on size. Honestly, no matter how professional you are in applying make-up..large blobs of colour don’t match creaseless eyes!

Bride makeup looks vary across cultures, countries, but ultimately from bride to bride. If there is one thing that is constant across the board, it is that perfect foundation is the key to success no matter what kind of wedding makeup it is.

: Makeup For Asian Women (9789812610799): Jacelyn Tay: Books
‘Makeup for Asian women’ is written by Jacelyn Tay, one of Singapore’s leading actresses. Her own experiences in makeup, perfected by trial and error and her observations of the work of professional makeup artists have resulted in a great makeup book for Asian women, where she addresses most of the common problems Asian women face with makeup.
She explains how to do eye makeup on different Asian eye shapes: almond shaped (with narrow or thick double eyelids), small monolids, long monolids and round eyes. For someone who is beyond the basics of makeup, this will be the most interesting part of the book, but here and there were also other interesting things I picked up from this book.
Of course, this book contains a lot about the basic things of makeup, but she takes it a notch further by not only showing how to do eye makeup on the most common eye shapes, but also how you can shade and highlight parts of your face and fix ‘problems’ like close-set eyes, wide-set eyes, undefined bridge and certain face shapes, giving your face more definition. She also addresses the varieties in skin color of Asian women, ranging from fair, medium to dark and gives tips about which makeup colors look great on what skin color.

Natural Makeup Looks
Cosmetics can help you put your best face forward. They can emphasize the features that are naturally attractive and that set you apart. But wearing too much makeup (or applying it incorrectly) can have the opposite effect.
Here are six tips to help you use makeup to enhance your features while letting the natural you shine through.
1. When it comes to makeup, less really is more. How do you know if you are wearing too much? That’s a difficult question to answer because makeup is something you wear for yourself, and that means the amount of makeup that’s just right is going to vary from person to person. As a general rule, if you rarely go out without “your face on” because you feel as though you look very different without it, you may be wearing more makeup than you genuinely need to enhance your features.
