Want Sexy, Smoky Eyes? Here’s How!

The first step to sexy smoky eyes is, of course, eyeliner! You can use either a pencil or a liquid. I suggest drawing a thin line in either a black or dark brown color….following along the top eyelash line (OR you can apply eyeliner from the top inner corner to top outer corner of the eyes), whichever you like best.  Then add a bit of eyeliner underneath the eye in the outside corner. Note: Avoid ringing the eye with eyeliner, as this can make the eyes appear smaller.Â

IMPORTANT MAKEUP COLOR PRINCIPLE:Â Lighter colors create fullness and highlight an area, while darker colors create depth and definition.Â

Let’s continue creating those smoky eyes with eye shadows next!  Try using a medium-toned shadow on the lid, then a dark-toned eye shadow color on the outer corners of the eyelid, in the eyelid crease under the browbone, and in the corners underneath the eye (eyeshadow applied over your eyeliner); see the illustration below. A lighter shadow can be applied softly directly underneath the eyebrow as a highlighter.Â

Here is an illustration of where to apply a medium-toned eye shadow (Silverado) and two darker-toned eye shadows (Navajo Brown & Slate blended together) in the corner and eyelid crease under the browbone. The three QDazzle(TM) eye shadow tones used here are “Silverado” Frosty Eye Shadow, “Navajo Brown” and “Slate” Matte Eye Shadows.

Of course, curling your eyelashes will help show off your eyes too! Next apply your eyelash conditioner, let dry, then apply your mascara.  You can use several coats of mascara (letting each coat dry thoroughly before applying the next coat helps avoid clumping). For extra drama, as a final touch try a fun pair of sexy false eyelashes!

Eye Shadows 1. You should use lighter shades to highlight under the brow, 2. Whereas on the lid and the crease of the eyes you should use the darker shades. 3. If you want to apply light shades like blue, beige, light green and light gray etc. then you should first draw a thin line with the help of liquid eye liner or sharp eye pencil over the upper lash line as close to it as possible. 4. Finding the right makeup for Asian women begins with choosing the proper foundation. Asian women need foundation with yellow undertones, which can be difficult to find when so many mainstream foundations feature pink undertones. The best bet is to go with a mainstream line like MAC or L’Oreal, which separate their foundations into warm (yellow) or cool (pink) undertones, or try one of the new makeup lines created especially for Asian women, such as Zhen, Thi or EX1.

Every woman wants to look good and beautiful. Aside from the fact that looking good makes you feel better about yourself; it also gives you a certain degree of self confidence.

Moreover, looking good is a way of representing yourself well to others. Thus, it is not surprising at all why most women, if not all, always strive to look their best at all times.

More than anything else, one of the most convenient ways of looking beautiful is applying make-up. Make-ups have been used by women even in the olden times to beautify themselves. In fact, in some places, women cannot go out in public without putting their makeup on. You can just probably imagine the long hours that these women spent in making themselves beautiful. Indeed, putting on make up is not an easy thing to do. It requires the proper color combinations that would suit the face profile, and makeup skills as well. This is probably the reason why, many women have opted for semi permanent makeup. Aside from the fact that semi permanent makeup are primarily used to paint women’s faces for them to look good, there are other important benefits as well.
