Actress and chef Nigella Lawson usually goes for the natural look at public appearances (left). But at a book signing this week (right) she showed up with an extreme vampire-style look–blood-red lips, pale skin, and dark hair. Perhaps the star is a fan of “Twilight” or “True Blood”?

British songstress Lily Allen was photographed leaving Nobu with rings of iridescent eyeshadow, and the rest of her face was seemingly bare. Quite a look, Lily!
How to Apply Foundation Video –
Hey observers! We’re at our second video in one day. I’m so excited. Today, second video today I’m going to show you how I do my daily routine on how add foundation. So if you want to know how I do my foundation every single day, you should stay tune and watch this video.
What we’re going to do is start off with some orange lipstick. It’s this one. It’s just from a drugstore, this one orange one. I have dark circles. I have a bad face right now. Look at those break outs, they are from plucking so, whoops.
So at the orange lipstick to you dark circles, like that. It looks horrible I know but, now we’re going to rub them out a bit with your fingers which you can see. On our clawing, you do this with a brush of course. Then, we’re going to get the concealer you have. I would suggest a little quick concealer for, if you do this orange tip. But if you don’t do this orange lipstick, just go with mineral foundation, mineral concealer, I don’t have them. So we’re going with this liquid. I’m going to use Maybelline SuperStay, and it’s number 16. And open and then apply some dots on every spot you want to cover, so the dark circles just break outs. Oh my God, on your nose, a little bit on here, a little bit on here, under your nose, on your chin, on your cheeks where you have got a little bit of redness and that’s it.

Teen tips: how to put on make
Applying makeup is an art, and before you start, it’s important to have a clean canvas! If you take care of your skin, your makeup will look better. Follow a usual skin care regimen and drink lots of water. In the morning, make sure you wash your face with a gentle cleanser and use eye makeup remover to get rid of the remnants of yesterday’s mascara. Then, apply an oil-free moisturizer (look for one with sunscreen to help protect from harmful UV rays). Let the moisturizer soak into your skin for about ten minutes before you being applying makeup.
Concealer and Foundation
Foundation and concealer help to cover up pimples and other blemishes, as smooth out uneven skin tones. Not everyone needs to wear foundation or concealer — you may choose to just wear a little concealer now and then to cover up a pimple (the best way to do that is to take a concealer stick, run a brush over it, dip the brush in powder, and apply). Other people prefer to wear a full face of foundation, which creates a uniform look and also helps makeup stay put (like on the eyelids).
If you decide to wear foundation, it’s important to select one that exactly matches your skin tone. If you prefer a liquid foundation, dot it onto your face and then blend all over with a clean cosmetic sponge. Make sure to blend carefully at the jawline. You can also get combination foundation/powder, which cover like foundation but feel like powder. These usually come in compacts and are applied with sponges.

Apply, applying eyeshadow and application techniques
While there are rigid rules when it comes to foundations, it is with your eye color that you can allow your creative side to take flight.
Your eyes are the focal point of your face. Be sure that your eye makeup techniques and choice of colors are most flattering to your eye shape and color. With eye color you can create the illusion of new shapes and sizes. Always keep in mind that light colors highlight and dark colors shrink or recede.
Powder eyeshadows come in singles or color coordinated duos, trios or quads. Try to find eye shadows that are highly pigmented. Simply put, you want the shade you see in the container to be the color you see on your eyes.
