Makeup Tips for Teenagers: Makeup Tips
“Hey, I’m Chelsea Bagozzi with suburbanheresy.com, and I’m here today talking about beauty and make up tips. We’re going to talk a little bit about what make up you should wear as a teenager. It’s so fun to play around with makeup and especially as a teenager, you’re just starting out, you’re just starting to learn make up, and it just kind of depends on how old you are, depending on how much make up you’re going to wear. I think a good age to start wearing make up is around twelve, and that’s just my personal opinion. It’s when you start junior high, and you know, you’re in seventh grade and I think it’s, you know, that’s a good age to start. And when you’re just starting make up, don’t over do it. All you need is a little bit of lip gloss and mascara, and maybe some blush, and you really don’t need anything else, maybe a light eyeshadow, but that’s it. And as you get older, you can add to your collection, and you can do, you know, a couple of eyes shadow’s instead of just one, and maybe add an eye liner. I really discourage black eye liner for teenagers. I think that it can be really harsh and I think that it can be beautiful for dances and, you know, dates and going out, I think it can be great, but for every day wear it’s really harsh on that young skin. Foundation is usually not really necessary for teenagers, unless you’ve got, you know, some skin issues. And if you do, try to use something that is a cream or a liquid because it’s going to look the most natural on your skin, and powder can make you look a little cakey and over-done. So just use something soft, a little bit of concealer and just keep it simple.”
