Lori Hamilin | Make up Artist | New York City

bio

When Lori Hamlin arrived in New York City almost fifteen years ago, she quickly established a reputation for flawless makeup application. More recently, she has become known for applying Manhattan’s prettiest eyelash extensions. She is a consummate professional whose attention to detail has enabled her to touch many famous faces while building a clientele of high profile professionals.

Lori has always had a natural sense of style and diverse creative ability. Her true talent was discovered while working at a Clinique counter while attending Michigan State University. Even then, Lori dreamed of having her makeup on the runways of Bryant Park at New York City’s infamous fashion week. The day she graduated, Lori headed to the Big Apple to make her dream reality.

Soon after her arrival, Lori met legendary makeup artist Kevin Aucoin who encouraged her to pursue her dreams. She has spent the last fifteen years doing just that. Lori assisted Francoise Nars, worked with Trish McEvoy, and helped to launch Anna Sui’s cosmetic line before going into business for herself. Her work has appeared in magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, W, Glamour and People. Lori has collaborated with fashion designers to create makeup looks and has led teams of artists for their runway shows. Lori’s makeup and lashes appear consistently on television and at red carpet events including the Emmys, Tonys, Golden Globes and Academy Awards.

Despite the hype, her down to earth demeanor makes everyone feel comfortable in her hands. Lori offers her services by appointment only to a devoted clientele on both coasts.
