Inglot eye shadows? Are they good?
How horrible. Some people are just terrible in sales. I have dealt with other makeup lines that had horrible staff. I have left several makeup counters, without making a purchase, because I was put off by someone’s attitude.
We have an Inglot store near to where I live also. I finally went by their shop today to take a look around. I must have spent about an hour there sampling products. They sent a representative to the school I am taking makeup artistry at, and it sparked my interest. The prices seem really good, so if the products are superior to what I use now, then I wouldn’t mind stocking my kit with some of their stuff. I am VERY picky about the makeup I put in my kit though. I won’t use their stuff on clients until I have used it on myself, and know it looks incredible.
I applied for a professional discount card, and it will probably take until some time in March to arrive. Until then I am not buying anything, because I am on a budget. I did get a black eyeshadow to try out though. I played around with the colour on the back of my hand in the store. It is quite beautiful so far, is very finely milled, blends well, and doesn’t have a lot of spillage when used. I will post an update after I try it out around my eyes.
A lot of their eyeshadows look interesting. Some of the colours I would never get…they are just to loud. Overall, I like the silky texture of the eyeshadows, and the way that they blended on my hand. Some felt a bit waxy, and didn’t move around as much as I would have liked. Others were amazing.
I can’t comment more until I have played around with the products extensively. I will have to wait until I use some on myself, and other people. From what I was able to muck about with at the store though…it does seem like they have a decent product. It’s worth at least checking out since the prices are so good.
