Relationships are not an exact science regardless of the presence of marriage or not. More often than not, however, it is the person with the most leadership skills that is going to resolve the conflict amicably to the satisfaction of both parties concerned when there is a need save the marriage..

How to save your marriage after a multitude of disagreements? Again, the subject of the disagreement and what the two of you were fighting about weigh heavily on how soon the forgiveness factor takes over. There is not an across the board answer on how to save a marriage except to seek marriage counseling.

There are a few suggestions that can be made that can be applied to a few cases involved with saving a marriage, however. It is suggested that you do not use the bedroom as the go to place to resolve any marital conflicts although most of the time this is where the two of you will come together because of physical needs and love for each other. Although there are marital fights, the love between the husband and wife should not be dampered as disagreements are a natural part of a relationship.

The key is to come to a compromise or an agreement on the problem that appeases the both of you instead of hiding under the sheets and then having the argument to resurface the following day without any unnecessary name calling and useless accusations. The lovemaking may be satisfying after a disagreement but does not solve the problem or bring agreement to the issue when you are trying to save the marriage with open communication about the marital problem.

Depending on the “status” of the disagreement, you may need an intermediary like a marriage counselor. Marriage counselors allow the husband and wife to talk the issue over in the hopes of saving the marriage. Both husband and wife have to want to save the marriage or marriage counseling will not work. Also, if the two parties involved are not truthful in their talks with the counselor, a solution may be difficult to come about. Both parties should attend the marriage counseling because a resolution can not be made if the counselor is only addressing the husband or the wife when seeking a solution and only hearing one side about the marriage.

If the marital disagreement or argument is over something like leaving the lid up in the bathroom then simply voice your concern and have him promise not to do it again. Accept his apology and move on. If this small issue brings up bigger issues, then the bigger issue was lurking there the whole time and just needed someone to bring it up. These bigger issues should be discussed with a marriage counselor so that it is eradicated possibly a marriage can be saved.
