How to Apply Eye Liner: Makeup & Beauty Tips
“Hey, I’m Chelsea Bagozzi, with suburbanheresy.com, and today, we’re talking about beauty and makeup tips. We’ve just finished putting on some foundation and eyeshadow, on Nicole, my model, and so now we’re going to talk a little bit about how to apply some natural eyeliner. There’s lots of different ways that you can apply eyeliner. There’s pencils you can use, there’s liquids, there’s creams, and then there is regular eye shadow. One of my favorite ways to apply eyeliner, is just with a regular eyeshadow, and just a small angled brush. It seems like it would be difficult, but it’s so, so simple. It will give you a nice thin line right in the lash line, that won’t overtake the rest of your eyeshadow, and it’s very natural looking, and beautiful, and it’s a lot easier, than trying to draw a straight line, with a pencil, because sometimes pencils can be a little bit thick, and it can be a little bit bumpy, so this is a great way, especially for beginners, to put on some eyeliner, and you can choose any color you want. You can turn any eyeshadow into an eyeliner, with a small angled brush, like this, so since we applied some plum eye shadow to her eyes, so I’m going to use a dark purple eyeshadow, for her eyeliner, so I’m just going to dip this right in, dip my brush right into the eyeshadow, and then I don’t even have to draw a line. What I’m going to do, is I’m just going to softly press this into her lash line, like that. I’m going to get a little bit more on there, and it’s really simple. You can kind of see the difference in both eyes, the way that looks, with just a nice soft thin line, and I’m going to go ahead and copy that, and do the same on the other side.”
