Fuzkittie: Beginners Makeup
Fuz!! Oh my gosh you are the so cute and gorgeous! I loved hearing your voice! I know what you are saying about hating hearing a recording of yourself because I am the same exact way… BUT your adorable. Thanks for doing those, it helps a lot.
And thank you for your reply from yesterday!! I was so pumped when I saw it. I am definitely going to try the routine you mentioned. For now I am going to stick to my cleanser, then I will add Diorsnow, and my usual olay moisturizer until I get La Mer. After all of that should I use the DiorSnow UV base? Then after all of that I will do the mauve primer and then my foundation. You totally helped me figure out my routine! Thank you! Does what I just wrote sound like a good one?
I think eventually I am going to try the Paul and Joe foundation because I am not happy with the one I use right now. Its mac mineral powder, its a loose powder and that is all I use. I’m just not crazy about it though. When I was checking out Diorsnow the other day (before I asked you about it) the girls at Nordstroms showed me a couple of things. They didn’t know anything about diorsnow so they showed me the shiseido line of whitening lotions. Do you like those or is Diorsnow better? One of the other girls showed me a primer by Smashbox I think and it was purple- it looks very similar to the primer you told me about by make up forever. I think I will go for the Make up forever one since that is what you recommended but out of curiosity, what do you think of the Smashbox version? I think she mentioned it contained vitamin C so that is a plus.
I have one more question! When I do get the La Mer moisturizer, should I get the lotion or the creme? I probably can only get one to start out with so I wasn’t sure. I thought the lotion because it wouldn’t be too heavy for the day. Do any of the products clog your pores? I am still using the sample of le sion noir but I think it is too heavy for me. I noticed a few tiny bumps starting to form today. I want to use La Mer because it sounds amazing and so nourishing to the skin, but I don’t want it to make me break out. If I can only get one eye cream which one should I get? I saw you use two. I need to be careful about my eye area because when I smile my eyes crinkle a ton. I don’t think I will ever be able to avoid wrinkles there but I want to help it as much as possible!
Yikes- I just read realized how long this was. Sorry- I got carried away! Thanks for all of your help though, I totally trust what you have to say. I need to figure out how I can send you a picture of myself without posting it online for the world to see- so you can see who I am! Can I do that through this type of blog?
I can’t wait to start my new regimen!!
