Discontinued Makeup: Max Factor & Prescriptives

Try L’Oreal Age Perfect Makeup for mature skin. I work at a dept store in cosmetics. I worked for prescriptives. The quality is excellent, saddened to see it go. Yes, All you Need is a great day Moisturizer. But you must try Good In Bed Night Cream. It really firms the skin, brightens and helps exfoliate. A little goes a long way too! Also, for a great natural foundation, Clinique’s Perfectly Real Makeup in a tube! It is oil free but works for any skin if you use your fave moisturizer first, let set for 2 min. then apply foundation with a brush, you have more control of how much you want to put on and the brush is key in getting the best finish on your skin. Boots, Origins, Prescriptives all have nice brushes, Boots being the least expensive of these but easy to find at Target or CVS. A brush actually takes less of your foundation so your supply will last longer. Sponges tend to soak up and waste the stuff. Never soak your brushes, wash gently with mild shampoo, gently soak up excess water with a washcloth, let brushes air dry lying flat. Remember, those bristles are glued in so not soaking will save the life of the brush. In todays economy every little bit helps so I hope this might help other, the info I learned working in this industry. I love Max Factor long lasting lipsticks as they did not dry out my lips. I will truly miss that! I save my fave one for special events now as I don’t think I’ll be able to get my MAX either! I’m 49 and most everyone tells me I look about 38. Nice! I think it’s good genes but also skin care is essential and that is what I liked about prescriptives. We really stressed that first to our customers, then the makeup. If your skin is not well cared for the makeup will not look as nice as it could on you!! If you can find it I would realy try that Good in Bed. It is the best night cream I have used. Moisture Surge by Clinique is great! Oil free but plenty of good stuff especially if you are wind burned or sun burned, like me, a CA beach girl all my life! It comes in a jar or a cool spray, nice to carry in your purse.
