Celebslam Presents: Celebrities without Makeup, a gallery

Hi Marie,

I assume you are too young and self involved to remember all of the messages of the older break through television shows that depicted racism and turned it into a joke against the people spreading it? And that person we laugh at, is use. Those that made sure Archie Buncher looked like the meanest, ignorant individual and appealed to all of those scared to admit their own fears. Perhaps you would bond over an episode, and I can only hope that it would show you your views have been a joke for ages. People base television shows on laughing at people like you.

Have you not seen how much times
have changed? How for various reasons we were convinced that certain truths that hurt people were the “truth”. I promise you (and you can already catch half of the main rentals in the video store, which I’m sure by the sounds of it appeals more to you than an informative newspaper for book, in catch you don’t get out much) that if you actually care to pay attention and open your mind, people are not dumber, more worthy, or less human by race.

Finally, the media is strong, but with the internet it is not everything. I encourage you to explore and inspect your own beliefs. People are people. Some are smart, some are artistic, and some are athletic. With hope in humanity I say that most that people are good. But everyone needs respect back. If you were to ignored or insulted or even give the glance of disgust you give those you think are below you, you only contribute to someone having a worse day.

Taking what I believe is not a far step from reality, if you had to believe the rights you believe were true, and were suddenly stuck in a body as a minority, I think you would crumble. You’re supposed strength builds from hurting others. If a person can come out of a world build by your standards and presumptions and still be strong enough to not only succeed, but beat you, please, take a second to think that you may not indeed be the smartest person on earth. Although I’m sure all your educated background has taught you to believe otherwise.
Think for yourself. Meet real people. At the end we are the same, but for different reasons. For your sake and the world’s, get a passport, and realize what a wonderful world and what wonderful people are out there.
And, just so you cannot fall back on what I’m sure you keep tucked in your “arsenal of attacks” I am actually a 29 year old white woman that just finished graduate studies. Even though I do not suffer from the pain you enjoy to inflict to build up your small self esteem, it seems like a kindergarten lesson all over again. Red is red, a circle is a circle, and you are no better as a person than anyone else you choose to be.
